Richard S. Cohen, CEO

Richard manages Raven Securities’ day-to-day operations. He puts his 24 years of experience to work analyzing and evaluating the marketplace to help clients achieve their trading and execution goals. Richard has spent his entire career working on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, first as a clerk at DLJ and later rising through the ranks from trading assistant, to sales trader, to floor broker. He became CEO of Raven Securities in March 2009. Richard is also involved with the NYSE technology and market share committees. He earned a B.S. in finance from the University of Buffalo and holds Series 7 and 24 licenses.
